Your information.

This site is made for teachers and is often shown to a class on a projector, so it is built to collect as little as possible.

What the site does not do

• There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.
• There are no advertisements and no advertising trackers.
• The site sets no cookies of its own.
• Nothing plays by itself.

Videos

The videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is played using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to what it collects.

Free companion sheets

Where a play-along has a companion sheet and the site offers to email it, the email address you give is used to send you that sheet. A note is kept of which sheet you asked for and for which instrument.

• You receive one email with the sheet. You are only sent anything else if you ticked the separate newsletter box.
• Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
• Your address is not sold or passed on for anyone else’s use.
• Your browser remembers that a sheet was requested, so the page can offer the download again. It does not store your email address.

The shop

Printables are sold through Etsy. Shop links open Etsy in a new tab, where Etsy’s privacy policy applies. Bandroom Press never sees your payment details.

The web host

Like any website, the company that hosts this site keeps standard server records, such as the pages requested and the internet address the request came from, to keep the site running and secure.

Students

The site is intended for teachers. It does not ask students for any information.
