About

Made by a music teacher.

Bandroom Press makes classroom music resources for lessons where guitar, ukulele, keyboard and bass are all in the room at once.

I have been a music teacher for ten years. Alongside teaching, I make classroom resources and look for better ways to run a practical music lesson. Bandroom Press is where that work lives.

Everything here is made to be used straight away: put a video on the board, hand out the instruments, and the whole class can play the same progression together.

What is on the site

  • Play-along videos: eighteen chord progressions, each on four instruments, with the chords drawn out for each one. They are free.
  • A path through them, from two chords to the 12-bar blues.
  • Rhythm clap-alongs: eight levels for the whole class, no instruments needed. Also free.
  • Printables: 16 chord charts, posters and card sets, sold through Etsy.

How it is made

The music in the videos is original. I make the videos and printables myself.
